The Riyaz tool helps our students to practice and master vocal notes from the app. It captures audio from the microphone sang by the student, and gives visual feedback to calibrate and perfect their singing
Alankars
Practice by singing along with a sequence of musical notes displayed
Vocal Range
Detect and improve the spectrum of notes one can comfortably sing within
Warmup
Master individual notes by singing along and calibrating
Practice with alankars
Alankars is a sequential arrangement of musical notes. Singing along with alankars helps user to calibrate their vocal notes. This tool makes the students sing along with an alankar and gives them realtime visual feedback so that they can perfect each notes
Listen mode :   Student start by listening to the notes which are played automatically
Singing mode :   Student starts singing along with the notes and tries to keep up with the visual feedback
Result :  Result is displayed as a match percentage of their vocal notes with the given notes
Identify and improve vocal range
Vocal range is the range of notes inside which someone can sing comfortably. There will be a lower end and a higher end, outside which a student can't sing. This tool helps students to identify their comfortable vocal range
The student is made to sing "Aaaa.." in their lowest and highest pitch possible one after the other
Lower and higher end of the range are identified when a note is sustained for more than 3 seconds
The range is identified as the difference between lower and higher ends. Comfort key is the middle point of the lower and higher end
Warmup with single notes
Warmup tool is a simpler version of alankars, where only one particular note is being practiced at a time. This helps in mastering different notes individually through constant practice
The lowest note the user can sing is first detected
Highest note is also detected similary
